Providence Health is one of the largest nonprofit healthcare systems in the United States, serving millions of patients across multiple states. Its digital ecosystem spans multiple brands, products, and cross-functional teams, making consistency, accessibility, and scalability a significant design challenge.Over time, decentralized design and development practices led to inconsistent user experiences, duplicated work, and accessibility issues across products.

The Challenge

MoonPay’s rapid growth had led to fragmented user experiences across its consumer and partner-facing products. The platform needed a unified design language that could support both B2B integrations and B2C transactions without compromising clarity or usability. Complex regulatory contexts and diverse global audiences added further constraints. The challenge was to create a system that balanced simplicity with flexibility, enabling consistent interactions while allowing for customisation across markets, products, and technical implementations.
